Hello, I have bought and read the WHEE Workbook, and have a few questions. As I couldn't find a Q&A section on the website, is it possible to ask via email? Here are my questions:
1. EFT [Emotional Freedom Technique] repeats only the main phrase of the affirmation whiled tapping, e.g. 'headache' - does WHEE require to repeat the whole phrase while tapping?
A: WHEE installs a replacement positive after releasing a negative feeling or belief. This is one of the differences between WHEE and EFT. For instance, if I bring my fear of heights all the way down to zero with WHEE, I then install a positive statement to replace the neagative that I released. In this case, it might be, "I can look down from any height and feel comfortable."
The affirmation positive used in the process of releasing the fear of heights (or whatever else we might be releasing) is helpful as well. For instance, my generic suggestion is that we say, "Even though I feel [insert negative feelings] when I think about [insert details of negative focus or situation] I still [insert positive statement, such as "I love and accept myself, wholly and completely, and the Infinite Source loves and accepts me wholly and completely and unconditionally."]. The repetitions of the affirmation positive set up a more positive attitude towards dealing with issues in general. This is why I don't recommend taking a shortcut with the WHEE affirmation. WHEE is wholistic, and particularly with inclusion of spiritual components in the affirmation, reciting a positive affirmation that includes this is particularly helpful.
2. The book mentions that after one round evaluate the SUDS again. How long does 'one round' take? How much tapping do you do?
A: Generally just a little longer than it takes to recite the affirmation. The rule for any such Q, however, is primarily by feedback from the response to the WHEE. Explore longer or shorter and see which works best. The joy and potency of whee is that it is so brief and quick that it provides rapid feedback on effectiveness.
Thanks a lot in advance, and have a wonderful day, HH
And BTW - May I use use your Q and my A in my Blog?

Wow Daniel, That was quick response! Thank you very much for your helpful answers!!! And yes certainly, you can use this for your blog or Q&A. Oh, again back to the tapping..... I tapped on one point (e.g. right eyebrow) as long as it took me to recite my affirmation. Then I tapped on the left eyebro as loong as it took me to repeat my affirmation. And I did that for 2-3 minutes. Now if I understand you right I only tap as long as I take torecite the affirmation? And does that mean that I do like one tap right, one tap left, one tap right...???
Alternating tapping = tapping right, left, right, left etc.
This stimulates right and left brain.
Phone session to guide you through this might be helpful.

Thanks for permission to post your q with my a in the blog

Thank you very much for your help, really appreciated! HH
WHEE MD Observations
WHEE works very rapidly. This enables us to learn immediately just how well we are responding to our healing affirmation focus – from the degree of change in intensity of symptoms. If we are slow or find resistance in our responses, we can tweak the affirmation to sharpen its focus.
See much more on WHEE in the articles on this site and in the WHEE workbook.
