People have asked about the very diverse items I am sharing in this blog - from health and healing through politics, the environment, creative arts, humor and other varied and juicy tidbits. 

My answer is that life is a journey of healing our forgetting of our oneness with the All. Each of the items shared in this blog is a pixel on the screen of the big picture that connects us with the All.

As I travel the outer and inner worlds of my life, I am amazed at the choreography of the Infinite Source who manages to bring me to exactly the right places, to experience the right lessons of meetings with the right people and events - all of them my teachers for the next needed lessons, and the next, and the next...

If I ever begin to doubt the reality of the lesson plans behind many of the many usual experiences in my life, then I am reminded of being a part in a larger picture by the magical synchronistic 'coincidences' that are way beyond coincidence.

When we're in the flow, open to healing at all of these levels, magical coincidences happen. These are synchronicities - coincidences that are meaningful to the participants.

Traveling and vacation times invite synchronicities because we have cut loose from our moorings, move around with some degree of 'randomness' (i.e. outside the boxes of our usual routines), and are open to adventures. Asking for them to occur also facilitates their happening.

I visited British Columbia a few weeks ago, meeting up with Sharon, a friend of a friend, to get the lowdown on wholistic Vancouver. Sharon used to be a real estate salesperson, but is now a healer. She was very helpful in recommending places and people to visit.

Next day, she called to alert me to an unusual opportunity. Another healer who belongs to a healing group in which Sharon participates, but whom she had never met, posted a notice to the group: "Seeking a healing person to sublet my apartment while I'm on holiday." The timing was just right for both of us.

You might say that this is simply a coincidence that could happen to anyone. In my experience, when it's a synchronicity, there are little curlicues on the signature at the end of the story. In this case, the rental apartment turned out to be 5 blocks from the place in Vancouver that I needed to be to present an evening workshop. I had also thought of renting a bicycle, but found the rentals to be unreasonably expensive. The apartment came with a bike. Vancouver has close to 600,000 people and covers an area of 12,000 square miles. Looks to me that this is an unlikely and meaningful occurrence!

We are all part of a collective consciousness. When we are in the flow, the universe often resonates with our needs and wishes.
